Introducing the newest Frustration Free Lighted Crossbow Nock — The Nock Out Contender 300 and Nock Out Contender 297
In designing the Contender 300 and Contender 297, we had a couple goals in mind:
Simplicity – just a simple on/off functionality
Strength – to withstand the fastest crossbows
Durability – to last shot after shot
To achieve our goals, we removed the practice collar popular in our original half moon design which helped us achieve the simplicity we were looking for and to provided extra strength. To improve the strength, even more, we developed a proprietary polycarbonate blend for the nock which resulted in a practically indestructible nock able to withstand the industry’s most powerful crossbows.
We are confident that the simplicity and strength of the Contender 300 will impress.
The Contender 300 and 297 is packaged with an orange pull tab which eliminates LED activation until ready for use. Remove pull tab prior to shooting.

THE ORIGINAL
OVERVIEW
Practice Mode: A simple 1/4 turn of the silver activation collar deactivates the LED. Now, you can decide if you want the LED to light or not. Practice mode allows you to practice with the same nock you’ll be hunting with. The NOCK OUT is the only nock you’ll need!
Easy Off: Simply pull the nock straight back until you hear a soft “click” and the LED turns off – no tools, no magnets, and it remains indexed to your vanes. Lighted nocks shouldn’t take longer to turn off than they take shoot.
Universal Fit: Each 3-pack includes 3 sets of precision orange bushings to fit the 3 most common CARBON* crossbow shaft on the market (total of 9 bushings per 3 pack).
Waterproof/Blood Proof: In addition to the other features, NOCK OUT lighted nocks are waterproof and bloodproof. With the addition of the NOCK OUT bowfishing adapter, our nocks become the perfect application of lighted nocks for bowfishing!
See the SPECS tab for more information on universal fit.
* Unfortunately, the NOCK OUT Lighted Nocks were not designed to fit aluminum shafts; and will not fit a carbon shaft smaller than a .285″ ID (eg. the GT Nitro a .272″ID).

FAQ
Will NOCK OUT Lighted Nocks for Crossbow fit my carbon crossbow bolts?
NOCK OUT Lighted Nocks are designed to fit the 3 most common carbon crossbow sizes, (.285, .297, and .300 ID) – they do not fit some of the newer small ID bolts such as the GT Nitro. The package contains three sets of bushings (each set contains a small, medium, and a large bushing). So you don’t need to worry about which package to buy – there is only ONE package. See the SPECS tab for more information about fit.
I use aluminum bolts. Will the NOCK OUTs work?
No, the NOCK OUTs were designed specifically for carbon shafts and will not fit an aluminum shaft.
Are the batteries replaceable?
No, the battery is not replaceable. This was a design trade off with the “Easy Off” feature. This feature requires the battery/LED to be permanently glued and cannot be removed and reinstalled by the end user.
How do I turn off the LED? Do I need a magnet or a tool?
Turning the LED off is EASY – That’s why we call it “Easy Off!” Holding the nock receiver firmly, simply pull the nock straight back until there is an audible click and the LED light turns off. DO NOT TWIST OR ROTATE THE NOCK WHEN PULLING.
